Valentines Day 2012

We started our day...

... with pink pancakes :)

Jade made her Valentines for school.

My kids are cute! I love them

I made Chris a Valentine. I messed it up so this is how I covered it up.

hahaha I cut the papers wrong to begin with. Which is why I needed round two at Hobby Lobby.

Chris' Gift.

Seriously so stoked my man got me a pink iron!!!

Its official... no more kids for me.

This past week I was asked to watch my nephew Bentley.  Hes seriously the cutest little guy ever. He is all smiles. Every time he sees you he gets this huge grin with the cutest little dimples.... HES JUST TOO DAMN CUTE.

The past few weeks Ive been hearing from everyone that I need to have a boy. So I started thinking about it. Thinking of a way to get Chris out of this " we are not having anymore kids" mind frame.
Then Bentley came to visit. (the baby did nothing wrong, hes such an easy going guy, I would watch him again any time.) I realized 3 kids is HARD. Getting Paisley in the car and then the baby and then Jayden. Going into the store I can carry a car seat in one hand and Paisley in the other. Coming out of the store is much more of a challenge. It seemed every time I was doing something with the Bentley Paisley instantly needed her mommy. Ive decided I have two hands for a reason. One for each of my kids.

...NO more babies for this girl.

Here are some pictures of my cute little guy. I LOVE HIM.

I am addicted to Pinterest.

Dont have a Pinterest picture, they just had video. But this is a heart poner.

Its official. Im super lame when it comes to blogging.

Well here we are again 2 months from the last post, playing catch up on all our past events.

So much has happened in the last two months I'm not even sure where to begin. I'm loving this stay at home mom stuff. I love seeing my kids every day when they wake up and all through the day. Im so very blessed to have a man in my life who equally loves having me home. Im so grateful he's such a hard working kick ass man. I like to believe I've mastered the art of housekeeping. Not to say my house looks like a model home or anything like that. However my floors are cleaned and vaccumed a few times a week, my toilets are clean enough I can rest my head on the toilet seat after too much to drink and not be disgusted. Ive got a routine down which seems to be working well in my favor.

The end of last year Chris and I went to Arizona and had a kick ass time watching the 49ers play the Cardinals. My team lost but I didnt care, we had a blast. Christmas came way to fast (as it seems to every year). Im totally bummed, Black Friday I waited in line at Best Buy to purchase myself a super nice camera . I was totally excited to take pictures of our first Christmas in our new home.... except the camera died Christmas Eve and the charger was missing until December 26th. Go figure. Even though our moments of our first Christmas in our new home were not captured the way I hoped we still had a splendid Christmas. My dad, Chris' dad, my sister , Shelli and Billy were all there to watch the excitement in my kids eyes as they opened their gifts.

New years started out great. I've set some reasonable resolutions and have so far done pretty good so far.
* No more fast food ( and with the exception of a hangover one morning that warranted Mc Donald's breakfast, I have not eaten any fast food)
*No soda ( made it 22 days, and now I enjoy an occasional Diet Coke when necessary.)
*No smoking ( hahha.... lets just say ive cut back)
* Ive started eating smaller portions and tried to incorporate exercise into my daily routine. im down 10 lbs. not too shabby.

My New Years was short lived with a family issue that was blown way out of portion. Sadly I chose to disconnect myself from ones that I love more than anything, but was so hurt by the way things were handled I just wanted to be done. This is exceptionally hard for me, as my whole childhood involved these members of my family.... lesson learned here is chose your words wisely and be careful when "attacking" someone with words. To you , your words may not be harsh, to the recipient they may be.

Chris turned 26 this year, and I decided to have a surprise party for him. I asked a few of our close friends to come over and help him turn 26. I made him 4 cakes ( 1 cake mix box) thats looked liked legos. (my sis, Bill and Kaley helped too :)  ) It was such a good night with our closest friends. Im so blessed to have the friends we have!

I was also pretty disappointed that the 49ers made it so far and lost the the damn Giants. BoO for that.!!

Jayden has lost her first tooth and looks so cute with her missing tooth. She lost it the night before her VIP day at school. She wrote a note to the tooth fairy and asked her to leave it so she could share it with her class. The tooth fairy did just that and Jade was able to share it with her class. It was so precious to see my little girl in her class interacting with her teacher and school mates. Man how did my baby get so damn big? She has such a big heart and is so precious to me.

Pictures to sum up the above rant.
