Our journey over the past three months.

Where does one even begin blogging about what has gone on when there is SO much that has? I suppose this post will be once again a "catch up" post, lets hope Ill finally figure out how to blog more then once every 3 months.

First matter that needs some attention is... IM A STAY AT HOME MOMMY now. Yup you read that right. After 4 years at my job, they announced they are exiting the industry they were in, therefore I lost my job. They took pretty good care of us, offering a bonus, severance and pleanty of resources to "prepair" ourselves for the future. Im in the middle of my 3 week of unemployment and I LOVE IT. I love getting my kids out of bed, or dropping Jade off at school or just playing with my babies. Not to mention Im able to keep up on my house work

Jade turned 6 on November 9th... S-I-X...  I cant even believe its been six years. yikes time flies!! I remember eating my Olive Garden Chicken Alfredo before going to the hospital to get induced. I remember labor like it was 3 hours ago, I remember how she used to look like a garden gnome. I remember her first steps walking at my dads house when we lived with him.... and many more memories i have of her being little. Im so excited to see the woman she will be when she is older. She is absolutely beautiful and really does have a very kind heart. I know she will go places in life.

My sister Billy Jade and Paisley went to Shellis work party to see santa. Pais hated him!!

IM BACCCKKKK

Just wondering when the hell I will master the art of blogging. You know, where I blog a few times a week, so I dont have to try and catch up like the past 5 of my post have been.

Regardless, my life feels like I'm in the middle of a tornado and where I'm going to land is unknown at this time, I sure hope its at least on my feet.

A quick recap of the past 5 months. Pictures are vague, as my memory card was damaged and I lost ALL of my pictures. I'm so sad!

MOAB-
The second weekend of June Chris and I set out on an adventure to Moab, UT. We went down with my best friend Stephanie and her man Dustin. We camped and on Saturday we went rafting. Let me just say... FUN FUN FUN!!!. We had so much fun. I'm so bummed we lost our pictures.

After Moab Chris and I became homeowners  on June 15th. This my friends is one of the most exciting things to happen to us! It is very rewarding to classify myself as a homeowner. Now I'm trying to master the art of housekeeping. So far... I'm failing. I'm sure with due time I will have a routine set out so I can keep my house up to par daily. The most important thing to me was to get my kids set up in an environment where they were comfortable. The first thing we did was re paint the girls room. Their room was once two rooms that the previous owner converted to one. We painted the walls teal and painted the closets pink and the trim of the windows pink. For my first home improvement job- I think it turned out fantastic :)

Butterfly clock.

Girls Closet. Took the Doors off and made it an open closet.
Shortly after moving into our new house Jade was playing with her new neighborhood friend and ate it on her bike. No biggie you say... Wrong. My poor baby hit her face and suffered a concussion. Needless to say that was one of the most scary things to date I have had to deal with regarding my kids.
Her fat lip
She couldn't move away from the toilet. Then got sick of standing or knealing by it.
This is how she was most comfortable.
After a long day, she is passed out waiting to be admitted to the hospital

Paisley turned one this year. AMAZING how fast time flies. (She will get her own post for birthday excitement)

Eating cake

Jade started kindergarten this year I CAN NOT BELIEVE my baby is in school. Its so fun to have her come home and share the things she has learned. She is learning sight words and can read about 15 to 20 words. AMAZING how quick she is learning things. I'm still trying to figure out being on the opposite side of homework. I'm now the one bitching to get it done, instead of the one being bitched at. *sorry mom for all the crap I pulled with you, I GET IT NOW!*

September 8th 2011 I becamee an auntie (again) to one of the cutestet little guys ever. Bentley is his name! He is a doll. I'm so grateful I get to be a part of his life!

I have learned that my company is exiting the medical business, which in turn causes me to lose my job.
I have created a count down chain to add color to my cubie and give me something to look forward to. Im going to take this time to enroll in school and go back to school to be a nurse. (wish me luck)

Chris and I celebrated our one year anniversary on Sept 10th. Man everyone says that the first year of marriage is the hardest, if this is the case things are looking promising for Chris and I. I feel like the first year of marriage was cake. Chris and I communicate openly (sometimes too much) I think because of this we have such a strong relationship. I love my husband with everything I have and am so grateful to be his wife!

Mothers curse.

Its TRULY true what you do to your parents come back ten folds. Jayden the other day was not allowed to play with friends. Why? Because she was sick . As a mom my biggest pet peeve is when people bring their ill kids around my kids and get them sick. Out of respect for other mommies I chose to keep my kids away from other people while they recupe. With that being said... Yesterday I was taking an early evening siesta when I heard Chris and Jade having a little feud.

Me: (completely out of it as I'm just waking up): whats going on?
Chris: Jade popped her screen out of her window... ::: pause:: and she snuck her friends in the window.

What the hell. SHE IS FIVE!!! I have my hands full. 10 years from now Im up shit creek. Everyone pray for me :)

WE GOT APPROVED

Chris and I found out earlier this week our loan was approved for our house!!! I can not wait to move in! We are about two weeks from closing and moving in. Words can not express how excited I am for this. Its weird for me to think about the fact we will be home owners. It makes me feel truly grown up.

What we have been up to

Once again I find myself catching up on the past MONTHS I have not blogged. Even worse is I think  " I need to Blog this" frequently. Hopefully I can figure how to incorporate blogging into my schedule. Seems as if I need to give up a little Facebook time and start WRITING. :)

Chris and I attended a costume party for my aunt's 50th birthday. We rocked our costume. I experienced my first sewing experience. with out anyone who knew what was going on- around to help. After a few temper tantrums the pants were complete :)

Jade sledding
We bought a zoo membership and took our first trip with a friend from work. Jade had a blast.
Jade on the Train

Lovin it!

Jade dressed her self. She wore the shirt because there are crocodiles at the zoo.

My sweet baby and her first trip to the zoo
Successful day at the zoo.

Chris and I are also in the works to buy a new home. CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR US. We need our own home. We currently live with  Chris' mom and she is quite patient with us our time has come and we need to be on our own.  Home buying is the most STRESSFUL thing I have EVER done. We are currently in between an accepted offer and getting our loan settled. Its a perfect home for my family. I cant wait it get our keys and get in and start settling :)

I have also become a soccer mom and I LOVE it! It is great for Jade she is so athletic! We have completed spring soccer and are going to sign up for summer soccer.
We have the coolest parents on our team - I swear some how we ended up on the rich team. Thank god the rich parents are not snoody! I met one mom that even though it hasnt happened yet I'm convinced we will be friends for a long time :)

Best team picture EVER.

Pais is the best cheerleader !

Jade is so funny with the things she says. We were a Khols and Jade saw these "animal skins" hanging on the hangers.
This is the camel skin vest/ the black one in the back is gorilla skin according to Jade

Paisley turned 10 months this month. What the hell - time flies. She currently has 8 teeth. Crawls like shes been doing it for 10 months. Climbs up stairs with out falling backwards. She says "hi" and holds her hands out. She is the sweetest soul and is loved by everyone in our family.

Thank you Uncle Sam for "saving" my money

First let me start off with.... I love taxes. Why? I love paying out of my ass all year to get a decent return. I feel like I take more then I need to out - and know how to live with out it. In turn - when our return came this year I was VERY exciting :)

So before the check for our return had even reached our mailbox I had already mentally spent it.

Im going to buy new shoes, work out clothes, Paisley a car seat and pay off bills.

So today and yesterday is the day we put our return to use (and then banked the majority of it)

I always believe taxes are for the parents to reward themselves for a year of hard work well done.  Once we were at the store my thought process changed.

Our journey began yesterday. Paisley's little legs have out grown her infant car seat. I fell in love with this car seat one time while at a store- and mentally spent my tax returns on it. Paisley digs it.

We got Paisley a fun toy to play with while in the car...

...so here is where buying things for yourself turns into buying things for kids.

I though if Paisley is getting new things... Jade needs something too.

7 Barbie Princess'

Cool right? Jade and Paisley get a new toy... So then... I think its not fair for Jade to get a toy more expensive then Paisley... So she got another toy.

The balls pop up and go down the spiral.

Today we had a few more errands to run so I told Jade if you take a nap you can get ONE Barbie (you cant give all 7 at a time or she wont think they are as cool)
