WELCOME BABY RAY!!!

When I found out I was pregnant with Paisley I took it upon myself to incourage my cousin to add to her family as well.

Jade and Evan are so close I really felt the need to Paisley to have a buddy.
With some peer pressure and logic thinking on Jenny and Japes part they started working on it.

9 months later...
... meet baby RAY.

Weighing in at 7 lbs and 6 oz. He is 18 inches long.

We went to see Jenny yesterday. As usual she looks stunning, even after having a baby.

Evan is a proud BIG brother

Last Post, I promise

So I find myself sitting down getting ready to upload pictures from Jades birthday to share with you all...
here are a few extra pictures I found. These were of coarse taken while Paisley and I took a nap and Jayden "watched" How to train your dragon. Do keep in mind, the camera was back in its home by the time I woke up... Enjoy.

Celebrating Jades Big Day

Jade was very excited to turn 5. She also shares her birthday with her Grandma Julie ( Wes' mom).
So yesterday, we came home and opened gifts with Grandma Rose, Chris and I. After gift opening we made her birthday cake (kids are so easy to please, no need to drop a outrageous amount on a cake, when the kid is perfectly happy licking the beaters and helping make the cake) . Anyway after the cake came out of the oven we drove up the street to Grandma Julie's and had cake and exchanged gifts. Jade had a great day.

Good Morning 5 Year old.

Gifts

Little Pet Shops were a hit

Jade got dress up stuff, Chapter books ( to include The Mouse and the Motorcycle), How To Train Your Dragon and a Disney book with lots of stories.

I love how Parker counts 1-2-3 and then acts like he is blowing the candles out. LOVE him!

So November 9th 2010 I was very thankful for Jayden.
What an amazing person she is.
I am lucky to be her mom.

Happy Birthday Jade.. I cant believe you are 5!

Five years ago I began the biggest challenge of my life, I became a mom. From the moment my child was born my priorities in life did a 180 and completely went in a different direction. The past five years (well 4) have not been easy. I will pat myself on the back for a minute and say I have worked my ass off to provide for my daughter. I missed out on a lot of her when she was younger because I was working two jobs, to insure food in her belly and clothes on her back. But we made it!  Jade is a very smart beautiful girl and  I am so proud to be her mom!!!

Here is a trip down memory lane.

Patiently waiting for her to come

Give thanks...

Facebook has received my daily updates on what I'm thankful for, however the blog has been missing out.
Its much easier to Facebook status update from my phone, then it is to blog.

Friday 11*5*10
Friday I was thankful for Fridays. Why? It seems like no matter who you are, we are always basing our week off Fridays. We work all week to get to Friday. For me,  I count down to Fridays for a few reasons. One- I dont have to wake up the next morning and go to work. Thats probably the biggest thing for me.
Two- I love being able to stay up late, and sleep in the next day.
Its just nice to know its the start to a mini vacation. 2 days to do whatever i want is awesome.

Im hoping that when Jade is old enough Fridays can be as fun for her as  they were for me. There was a time when I was not too cool for my mom. My mom and I used to watch TGIF  every Friday night. It was awesome. Boy Meets World and Sabrina the Teenage Witch... nothing but a good time. Hooray for Fridays.

Saturday 11*6*10
I am thankful for Paisley.
Saturday marked 4 months from when Paisley was born. I am so thankful for that beautiful little being I get to call my daughter. Paisley was not planned, but one of the greatest gifts Chris and I could ever get. We love her so much. I am so excited to watch her grow and see what she becomes.

Sunday 11*7*10
I am thankful for Sundays! Recently Chris and I have started to just stay home. We used to run around and never just hang. I love being lazy on Sundays. I love i have the option to do laundry, watch football and stay warm and not have to do anything. I love being home with my husband and girls, its great family time.

What are you thankful for?

Our wonderful weekend :)

Friday night Chris and I were able to ditch the kids and have a date night. My dad's girlfriend  was so awesome and took our kids for us. Chris and I went to dinner and a movie. We saw a special friend while we ate dinner (we love you Scott), followed my a movie. We saw Jackass 3 (not in 3D). Seriously, SERIOUSLY one of the most disgusting movies I've ever seen. I have to give it to them, its the only movie  I've seen with so much uncensored penis. Usually movies have boobies and never any male parts, this movie is completely different... Still very gross.
It was nice to have a night with just my Hubby. Man I love that guy!! I seriously think I'm the luckiest girl around. He is perfect for me.

Saturday we had a baby shower for Baby Ray and his parents. My cousin Jenny is like my sister. We grew up together playing at the baseball fields, sleepovers at our dads, we have had kids together, been single moms together and supported each other through our recent marriages and new additions to our family.
She threw an awesome shower for Paisley we wanted to return the favor. We had lots of fun, I think they
got lots of great gifts, which is the name of the game. We hung around to watch TCU kill the Utes.

Today Sunday we have been lazy and have loved every minute of it.

Love

I am so thankful for
Love comes in many different forms. I am thankful for all aspects of it.

I am thankful for a parents love.
I was an unexpected surprise for my parents, I chose to grace them my presence at a time that was the most inconvenient for them. While they both have different renditions of what happened, somewhere in the mix up, I know it was hard and scary for both of them. My parents have loved me though everything. Temper tantrums when I was younger, teenage drama, having a baby myself when I was young and many other hard life choices. I am so thankful that they always have my back when I'm falling. They have taught me great life lessons that I feel have shaped me into the ME I am today. Sometimes I thought they were too bossy mean or overprotective, when in the end they  just wanted the best for me.

I am thankful for the love between a husband and wife.

I have had my fair share of relationships in my quarter century of life. However the  bond between a husband and wife is far more special then one of a boyfriend and girlfriend. I am so  thankful for the love that is between my Husband and I. We love each other, though thick and thin.  *My husband even loves me when i fart in bed :) * We have so much fun doing any and everything together. I adore my husband.

I am thankful for the love of a child.
Being a mom is the most wonderful thing in the WORLD. My children have taught me to love unconditionally. While loving unconditionally is a great trait, one of the best feelings is knowing my kids love me no matter what. Right now to my kids I am a hero.

I am thankful for the love between my siblings and I.
My siblings come in different ages and sizes, but in the end the bond I have with each of them is irreplaceable.

I am thankful for the love between aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
