We love our FLIP

Right before Paisley was born we were given a "Flip" camera to record our most favorite memories. Enjoy...

We went to Boise to visit some very special friends of ours. We were playing Kinect. Chris conquered a level and this was the dance he though of on the spot. The Kinect records it and then stores it in the Kinect. When the video plays back to us it is not Chris' body- it is Chris' sweet moves in the body of a T-rex .

During our stay we got to listen to Rochelle and her Papa sing. I wish she could sing me lullabies every night.

I love watching her try and grab her bubbles. <3

Splish Splash

So Paisley is still bathing in the wonderful bath that aunt Stephanie gave her (Utah Steph). It works out well its still a "baby" tub but has a spot that helps her sit up. I must first start by saying I LOVE LOVE LOVE this tub. I could rest it in the groves of the kitchen sink stand and bathe Paisley.... Now I cant. Paisley is a SPLASHER. Gets water EVERYWHERE. So we have upgraded the "baby tub" to the big tub so she can still sit in it. Well her loving big sister thought it was soo cool she was in the big tub and wanted to join the fun...

I love my kids :)

Welcome February

January wasnt super exciting for us Taylors. Just spend the month cooped  up in the house looking for things to do.

Jade has enjoyed her Doll house & Little Pet Shops

Paisley is getting big.

And we have visited the dentist.
She took her boots off so she didnt get the dentist chair dirty.
Good news - we are cavity free :)
And... My work badge has been updated to reflect my name change.

Ive become much more healthy (not a health guru by any means) and am on the way to not being a cow.

With the recent passing of another year... comes excitement for another

2010 was a wonderful year for our little Taylor family.

We got married, Paisley was born and Jade turned 5.

I have made some Goals for the New Year but am hoping they will stick for life.
I might as well add I hate "New Years Resolutions" they are so cliche. (spelling)

This year I am going to strive to be more health conscious. I cant be a fatty forever, might as well start now.

My biggest goal is I want to help in my community. I am so BLESSED with a great support system. I want to help those in need and make a difference to those around me.

My first cause is going to be a walk in March for muscular dystrophy. Before then I'm going to see how many donations I can collect.  My friends son suffers from this disease and its heartbreaking to think of what they have to go though.

I hope every one makes a goal to better themselves for the new year.

Im so excited to see what's in store for 2011. 2010 is going to be hard to beat!

All that hype ... for one day.

Christmas this year was especially fun for me (Kia) . Christmas morning I was able to open gifts with my Mom, Grace, Ayrton and Anni in the same room! It seems like ages since I was able to have Christmas morning with my Mom and siblings. It was wonderful. My mom was in town for a week along with her parents. It was nice to be able to spend time with my whole family. I have the coolest family EVER.

Santa showed up, as that man does every year.

Christmas Eve we went to Chris' aunts for dinner. Every year they read the story of Christmas from the bible and we (okay they, I dont volunteer ) reenact the story. Jade is dressed as a Mary.
I wanted Paisley to have a Christmas Eve outfit but wanted it to be different then the traditional Christmas dress or the Santa outfit...so... She was an elf.

Christmas stresses me out every year! It was so nice this year to be able to have it with my mom, spend time with my grandparents from Missouri and of coarse spend it with my family and friends that are local. I LOVE all my PEEPS :)

Elf On The Shelf

Meet Sparkles... she is the newest member of our family. Sparkles came to our family and will continue to be a part of our family every Christmas season. Sparkles is here for Jade to talk to and tell what she wants for Christmas. Jade is not to touch her or else she will lose her magic. Sparkles watches Jade every day then once Jade is asleep Sparkles flies back to the North Pole and tells Santa how Jade was. By morning time Sparkles is back to our house but located in a new spot so Jade knows she went to the North Pole.
I really excited to have Elf on the Shelf as a new tradition for our family.

Goodbye November ... Welcome December

November brought to us some good times with family and friends along with lots of snow.

The last weekend of November was quite a fun/long 4 days.

We started the weekend with date night for Chris and I. We went to the Jazz game and had 15th row tickets. It was such a great time, just the two of us.

After our game followed Thanksgiving. I dressed my kids totally cute, Paisley had a cute bow and I tried to do Jades hair.  Unfortunately I didnt get many pictures of them. We had a great day we went to the in -law and then went to hang out with my dad. All in all it was a good time.
